MURRAY FAMILY LETTERS
David Murray of Brockville, Ontario, Canada (d.c.murray@sympatico.ca) is in possesion of old family letters which pertain to his Murray family ancestors in County Down. Letters dated the mid- to late 1800s from a Jane Grimwood, who lived in Rathfarnham, told relatives that her mother's sisters married Murray brothers (Thomas and Henry - see the marriages above) who were agents of the Marquis of Downshire. There were also brothers John (also an agent), Richard and Edward Murray. Edward was David's great great great grandfather. Also in the collection are letters from a Robert Bradshaw Moorehead who writes of Bradshaw relatives. His grandfather's middle name was Hercules.
