THE FAR SIDE OF THE SKY

Christopher Earls Brennen was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during
the Second World War. He grew up in the beautiful drumlin-rolling
countryside around Magherafelt where he first acquired a love of
nature that stayed with him throughout his life. Educated in
Magherafelt and at Oxford University, he emigrated to California in
1969 and has lived and worked
in the San Gabriel Valley for over thirty years. Many of those
weekends were spent exploring the nooks and crannies of the San Gabriel
mountains which he has written about in Adventure Hikes and
Canyoneering in the San Gabriels. Further afield he describes
some of the great adventures of the American Southwest in
Adventure Hikes and Canyoneering in the Southwest.
In this book he tells of some of the adventures he has experienced
and some of the people he has met in other parts of the world.
